Telehealth to be Strengthened

The government has announced that it will further strengthen telehealth arrangements – as recommended by the AMA, the RACGP and other medical experts. Medicare-subsidised telehealth services which were introduced during the COVID-19 response, will now promote patients receiving continuous care from a patient’s regular GP or medical practice.
