Sick Leave Due to Coronavirus

Do you have a coronavirus policy in your workplace? This could include temperature checks and people with symptoms being asked to go home/stay home. Employees can be directed to leave work if they are sick or displaying coronavirus symptoms. Both employers and employees have a legal obligation to support workplace health and safety. In these circumstances, employees need to take their accrued sick leave – or some other form of leave (e.g. annual leave).
