The government’s business.gov.au website has a tool to assist small business employers to create employment contracts for their employees. It can be used for full-time, part-time, and casual employees who are covered by an Award and complies with all workplace laws.
The Employment Contract Tool includes:
- conditions that you must provide to your employee; and
- optional clauses to help set expectations and protect your business.
It takes around 30 minutes to complete and can be accessed via the business.gov.au website.
